Double Branch Saddlery

Welcome to Double Branch Saddlery, located just outside beautiful and historic Columbia, Tennessee. We offer hand-crafted horse furniture for the 19th century reenactor. Our cowboy saddles for recreating the Wild West include, Hope saddles and Sante Fe saddles. These are made the way the old west saddles were made with minimal tooling but with all the modern safety enhancements. Many members of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association are using our saddles as they strive to accurately recreate their heroes of yesteryear. (See below photos of two members of the TN Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association). In addition to Wild West saddles we offer cowboy gear including dog-eared headstalls (bridles), halters, lead straps, rosettes and breast collars. We also supply Civil War saddles and appropriate head-gear to members of cavalry units and officers. All saddles are made on wide gullet trees for a better fit for the 21st century horse. Each saddle is hand crafted so that no two are exactly alike.

This Medieval saddle was custom made for Mark Westman of Talons! A Bird-of-Prey Experience, who will be using it on his draft-cross for their Medieval falconry on horseback show called: KNIGHTHAWKES.
